Hi, my name is Kai Chien Hong, I'm a students' representative of the 6MD 3-year regular program. I'm from Taiwan, and when I look back, I can say that I’ve known for some time I was interested in the medical field, but I couldn't find any chance to get into this in Taiwan.
When I was searching online for any opportunity to get into the medical field, I found an agent company from Taiwan which had that – the offer of the Medical University of Lublin. I had also found out that the Medical University of Lublin is the top university in Poland.
As soon as I joined this big, university family, I felt that everything was much better than I expected. First of all, every professor is very kind. If I have any questions, at any time, they answer me very quickly. Secondly, students in Poland, no matter Asian or local, help each other, and get each other's back.
There are times though when we get information from University too late and it causes some misunderstandings between professor and students. By the way, Lublin is way TOO COLD comparing to place where I'm from. The average temperature in Taiwan is above 20. But of course the snow in Lublin can also be very beautiful!
I love being in Lublin!
